Take a life
In a place where the trill of it
Is an upside wheel spinning us
To the brink of death
For our own amusement
Just to remind us how we’re still alive

So much sleep and healing hands

Feed the body and clear the mind
Hope that all comes through with time

Bleeding animal, valid sort

Inside robes and outside bones
